| The Six Traits of Writing 1. Ideas and Content- clear ideas that are focused and supported with details 2. Organization- ideas are arranged in a logical order that move the reader 3. Voice-writitng shows individual style 4. Word Choice-language is precise, powerful, and interesting 5. Sentence Fluency-sentences flow smoothly and have different lengths 6. Conventions-all grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors have been corrected. |
